Quick & Easy Instant Pot Chicken Tikka Masala

A quick & easy weeknight recipe for Instant Pot chicken tikka masala. This recipe is rich in flavor with tender chicken and our best-selling chicken broth, all cooked in under 30 min! 

  • 1 Tbsp garlic ghee
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 lb chicken breast diced
  • 1 13.5 oz jar of tomato sauce
  • 1 13.5 oz can coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Bonafide Provisions Chicken Broth
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 2 Tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Sea Salt and pepper to taste

1. Set instant pot to sauté function add in the ghee
2. Once the ghee is melted, add onions, salt + pepper, and sauté for a few minutes
3. Coat chicken with tapioca flour then add to the Instant Pot and brown for a couple of minutes
4. Add all the seasonings, mix, and cook for a couple of minutes
5. Turn off sauté function, add tomato sauce, coconut milk, and bone broth, mix until well incorporated
6. Cover instant pot, set to manual high pressure for 5 minutes
7. Once done let pressure release naturally (10-15 minutes)
8. Serve with steamed rice or sauteed cauliflower rice
